01 Direct Airline between China and Grenada

The “Grenada International Airport” project will be constructed by China Harbor Engineering Corporation.

A Navigational Memorandum has been fully executed between China and Grenada.

Many new economic opportunities will be opened up because of the positive relationship between China and Grenada.

03 Airport
The Grenada Airport Project will be funded by Exim Bank of China in the amount of $67.74 Million USD.

Infrastructure improvements to the International Airport in Grenada will include new runway-surface milling and pavement, aid-to-navigation lighting changes and upgrades, improved apron, improved aircraft turn-around area and taxiway expansions along with new aerobridges. 

Additionally, new equipment for air traffic control and management will be installed that will improve communication and enhance weather meteorology.  Furthermore, the airport’s periphery access road will be substantially improved and existing buildings will be redesigned to improve overall airport efficiency and maximize safety.

The timeline for completion of construction for the Grenada Airport Project will be approximately two and a half years.
